I began working with CSDS as a Graphic Designer, and have since taken on the position of Lead Marketing/Creative Coordinator. I've developed digital marketing campaigns to promote the Dharma Space within the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service, and designed promotional materials, including posters and graphics, using Photoshop & Canva. I've also managed the Dharma Space Instagram account & all of its digital marketing. This included designing promotional material, graphics, and posts, as well as managing digital collaborations with various student organizations, which required me to demonstrate valuable interpersonal communication to maintain good relationships. Another large aspect of this position was the management side of things, as it fell under my responsibility to lead the onboarding and employment of new employees for the marketing department. As my first role in a management position, I learned so many new skills, like how to conduct interviews for onboarding, managing employees, organizing, directing, and working with a team, and how to generally have more confidence in my decisions as a leader. This role has provided me with incredible experience that will apply to almost any future position.
