During the first semester of my Sophomore year at Northeastern University, my two co-founders and I created our fintech startup: Finible. Finible is an AI-powered, gamified financial wellness app designed for young adults, helping them achieve their financial goals. We competed in the Husky Startup Challenge through Northeastern's Entrepreneur's Club, where we spent eight weeks developing Finible and presented our startup in front of the Entrepreneurs Club E-board, in a Shark Tank-style format. Out of 30 startups, we were selected as one of eight finalists, and moved forward, getting the opportunity to present Finible to an audience of 300+, and a panel of judge entrepreneurs. After our presentation, we were awarded both the audience favorite award and the social media challenge award after gaining the most traction within our marketing efforts. As one of three cofounders of Finible, I acted as the growth strategist, CMO, and Lead Designer, developing a 2-year growth strategy, outlining how we'd go about beta & alpha testing, then how we'd explore the possibility of b2b revenue models in the future. As CMO, I led all marketing strategy, developing an 8-week plan which identified target demographics and how we would specifically appeal to those demographics, and how we would primarily utilize affiliate marketing with micro-influencers and UGC. My marketing efforts allowed Finible to grow an audience of potential customers to 15,200 people and raise over $1k in funding for our startup. As lead designer, I led the art direction and brand image, designing all logo variations, the waitlist website, and general graphic branding elements.
